Job Description: Workout And Restructuring Analyst
Role Overview: This role is responsible for analysing and managing distressed credit exposures and non-performing facilities, evaluate financial viability, recommend restructuring or workout solutions, and monitors implementation to protect the institution’s financial position while supporting business recovery where feasible.
Position Overview:
The position is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a further 6-month extension.
The successful candidate must be available to commence duties immediately on 09 February 2026.
Based in Gauteng, offices are in centurion
Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence are essential.
Gross monthly salary of R57,000.
Expect to work long hours and travel extensive in Gauteng and Mpumalanga province.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a detailed diagnostic analysis of clients that show signs of distress and provide turnaround solutions.
Liaise with various internal stakeholders including the investment team, Legal and Credit as well as the monitoring teams to gain thorough understanding of investments.
Visit clients in distress to conduct thorough diligence to gain understanding of the entity/is.
Prepare financial models using various restructuring techniques based on the practical client situation while benchmarking with industry data.
Provide a full analysis of client financial information and prepare reports.
The incumbent is expected to present transactions to relevant approval structures
Create and update quarterly portfolio reviews for a portfolio of distressed related clients.
Track default and recovery metrics and regularly report key information to senior management.
Undertake special projects as and when required.
Manage disbursements where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS:
-A Bachelor’s/B. Tech Degree in Accounting or Finance (NQF level 7) or related field.
-Completed SAICA Articles
-Experience in a deal making/investment environment, and experience in SMME deal structuring and analysis environment
-Proven track-record in conducting financial, technical, marketing and compliance due diligence.
-Good report writing, presentation and communication skills with an ability to interact with a very broad spectrum of
stakeholders.
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
-Eligible to register as a CA.
-Development Finance Institution (DFI) working experience.
-Knowledge of current government policies and strategies aimed at developing and supporting SMMEs in South Africa.
